Blueberry Bedlam - Bed Races
Saturday, September 5th, 2009
10:00 a.m. Historic Plymouth, IN

Get a group of thrill seeking, fun loving friends together, and be part of the very first Marshall County Blueberry Festival Blueberry Bedlam! This new event will take place on the 3-block stretch of Michigan Street (aka State Road 17) in Historic Downtown Plymouth. Teams consist of 5 members, 4 pushers and 1 rider. Each team will need to build their own bed, which has to have a headboard, footboard, mattress, wheels of course and push bars. Now, here is where your mom telling you to change your sheets and make your bed really comes in handy. Along the way the teams will complete a couple of bed related chores, changing the fitted sheet and the pillowcase. These will be done at two separate "Chore Stops." To make the race a blast for you and those who will now doubt come to watch, we highly recommend you choose a Family Friendly theme for your bed. Decorate it and dress accordingly. Who knows, a prize could be in the offering for the best themed bed and racers.
