2019 Scholarship Winners

The Marshall County Blueberry Festival® is proud to award two different sets of scholarships each year. The first is the annual Blueberry Festival Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to seniors attending a Marshall County High School and are active in volunteering throughout the county, including the Blueberry Festival. This is the 8th year for the Marshall County Blueberry Scholarships to be awarded and in 2020 the scholarships will be renamed the Dick Johnson Memorial Scholarship. This year winners are Daniel Stauffer, Olyvia Clark and Trent McKenzie from Plymouth High School. Each recipient received a $500 scholarship.

The second set was awarded at the Miss Blueberry Pageant. Abigail Powell, 2019 Miss Blueberry received a $1250 scholarship, 1st Runner-up Mary Yeo received a $750 scholarship and 2nd Runner-up Delany Groves received a $500 scholarship. These scholarships are funded with the proceeds from the "All Things Blueberry" booth located by Information Booth #1 during the festival along with any funds designated for the Scholarship Fund throughout the year.

While you are visiting the festival please stop by the booth, check out all the Blueberry items and help support the annual scholarships totaling $4000.
